You can see exactly how your assistant will look before you save a single change.
When you open Customize Chat from the Dashboard, the Chat Appearance Settings editor shows a live preview of your chat alongside your settings. As you adjust things like colors, position, and other appearance options, the preview updates to reflect your current choices, so you always know how your assistant will appear to shoppers before you save.
Once you're happy with how it looks, save your changes to make them live on your store.
The preview shows design, not behavior
The editor preview covers how your assistant looks — its colors, position, avatar, name, and welcome message. It doesn't act out a real conversation.
To see how the assistant actually behaves — how it replies, what it knows about your products, and which nudges and pills appear — interact with it directly on your live store. That's the most accurate way to test the experience your shoppers will have.
