Your shoppers see a small chat bubble on your storefront that opens into a friendly conversation with your AI Shopping Assistant.
The floating chat bubble
Shoppers first see a floating chat bubble on your store. Its color and position are the ones you chose, so it matches your brand. Tapping the bubble opens the chat window.
Inside the chat window
When the chat opens, shoppers see your assistant's name and avatar along with your Opening chat message to welcome them in.
From there:
- Shoppers type questions in plain language and get answers in real time.
- When it's relevant, the assistant shows product suggestions the shopper can act on, and it can add items to the cart for them.
- On an empty chat, shoppers see tappable pills (Conversation Starters) to help them begin. As the chat continues, the assistant may also offer Quick Replies, suggested next questions they can tap instead of typing.
Shoppers can start a new chat at any time.
On phones
On a phone, the chat opens full-screen instead of in a small window, giving shoppers plenty of room to read replies and type. It's built to feel natural on mobile:
- The typing area stays visible above the on-screen keyboard, so shoppers can always see what they're writing.
- Buttons and other touch targets are easy to tap.
- Text is sized to be comfortable to read.
The chat adapts to the screen it's on, all the way down to compact phones, so it looks and works well on any device.
