How do I edit my conversation starter chips?

Conversation Starters are the tappable chips your assistant shows on an empty chat to suggest what shoppers can ask. They're one of the two types of Pills, and you can set 1 to 3 of them per store. New stores come with default starters, which you can edit or replace anytime.

You manage them on the Pills screen in the app.

Edit or create a conversation starter

1. Open the Pills screen in the app.
2. To edit an existing chip, select it. To add a new one, choose Create Starter (you can have up to 3).
3. Set the Title — this is an internal name to help you find the chip later. Shoppers never see it.
4. Enter the Message — this is the chip wording your shoppers actually see and tap.
5. Save your changes.

In this version, you can edit the text of your Conversation Starters and turn the set on or off. Page and visitor targeting isn't available yet — your starters show on an empty chat for all shoppers.

The other type of Pills, Quick Replies, is generated automatically by the assistant during a conversation and can't be edited.
