Shoppers can ask to see or delete the data from their conversations with your AI Shopping Assistant, and there are two ways to do it.
Contact you or POWR directly
A shopper can request access to or deletion of their conversation data by reaching out to you (the merchant) or to POWR at privacy@powr.io. Either route works, and we'll help fulfill the request.
Through your Shopify admin
POWR also honors Shopify's mandatory privacy requests. When a shopper submits a data request or a data erasure (redaction) request through your Shopify admin, we process it automatically.
One important caveat
Anonymous conversations — chats where the shopper didn't sign in — aren't linked to any identity. Because there's no way to tie that data to a specific person, anonymous conversations can't be matched to an individual deletion request.
