POWR offers 32+ apps on Shopify, each can be easily and automatically installed on any default page of your store including your homepage, products, collection pages, cart, or custom/default pages. This article walks you through the step-by-step installation process, using the Image Slider app as an example.

Step 1: Customize and Publish your App
After installing the POWR app of your choice from the Shopify app store, you'll be redirected to the POWR editor where you can select a template or start from scratch.

Once you're done customizing:
Click the Publish button in the top-right corner of the POWR Editor
This will save your changes and open the Publish Page, where you can choose where to install your app in Shopify
You can also click Publish if you’re still working and want to save your progress before taking a break.
Step 2: Install on Shopify Page
After clicking Publish, a dropdown will appear where you can select the page for installation. Choose from:
Homepage
All Product Pages: at the same position on all your products
All Collection Pages
Cart Page
Custom/Default Pages
You will also be prompted to choose if you want to install the app at the top or bottom of the page selected. Once it's done, click "Install in your Shopify theme editor" and you will be redirectly to your Shopify theme editor on a new window.
To install on All Collection Pages; your will be prompted to proceed by copying the App ID before moving onto the theme editor for the next step.
Step 3: Finalize in Shopify Theme Editor
After being redirected to the theme editor, simply check if the installed app is toggled on at the top left and then click the "Save" button at the top right.
Once saved, the app will appear live on your selected page
- Installing on Collection Pages
When installing on All Collection Pages, Shopify requires a different step:
- Once you’re in the Shopify theme editor, click on the POWR app section
- Paste the App ID in the field that appears in the top-right corner
Click Save.
- Additional Options and Controls
From the Publish page, you’ll also see additional tools for managing your app installation:
Main options:
View Live – Opens the live page where the app is installed
View in Editor – Opens the Shopify theme editor directly
Edit – Changes the app’s current page or position
Add to Another Page – Installs the app on additional pages
Delete App (red bin icon🗑️) – Removes the app from the selected page only
Advanced installation options:
Install with Custom Liquid Code – Allows manual placement anywhere in your store using Liquid
Share App – Generate a shareable link or QR code for your app
