Collaborator access allows us to troubleshoot your store without requiring your login credentials. You remain in full control and can revoke access at any time.

Why We May Request Collaborator Access
Most support requests can be resolved without accessing your Shopify store.
However, some issues require us to review your theme, app installation, or store configuration directly. Collaborator access allows us to:
- Investigate installation issues
- Review theme settings
- Check app placement and configuration
- Troubleshoot storefront behavior
- Resolve issues more quickly
Your store remains secure because collaborators only receive the permissions you approve.
How to Approve a Collaborator Request
When a POWR support representative sends you a collaborator request, Shopify will notify you by email.
You can also approve the request directly from your Shopify Admin.
To approve the request:
- Log in to your Shopify Admin.
- Go to Settings.
- Click Users and Permissions.
- Click "Review request" and scroll down to "Accept Request".
Once you've approved the request, reply to your support ticket and let us know. We'll begin investigating your issue as soon as possible.
What Access Does POWR Need?
The permissions requested depend on the issue you're experiencing. We do not receive your Shopify password nor full account ownership.
The permissions needed will be pre-selected by our support team in the request. When reviewing the request, you can go ahead and accept it directly with no further actions needed from your end.
How to Remove Collaborator Access
After your issue has been resolved, you can remove POWR's collaborator access at any time.
- Log in to your Shopify Admin.
- Go to Settings > Users and Permissions.
- Find the POWR collaborator account.
- Click Remove Access.
You can always approve a new collaborator request if needed in the future.

Is collaborator access secure?
Yes. Shopify's collaborator system allows you to control exactly who has access to your store and what permissions they have. You can revoke access whenever you like.
Can POWR make changes to my store?
Only if the permissions you approve allow it, and only for the purpose of resolving the support issue you've reported. We will never make unrelated changes to your store.
I don't see the collaborator request.
If you haven't received the request:
- Check the email associated with your Shopify account.
- Go to Settings > Users and Permissions in Shopify Admin to see if it's pending.
- If you still don't see it, reply to your support ticket and we'll resend the request.
