In the Scroll to Top app editor, you can add an anchor ID to scroll to any text, image, or video on your webpage that contains the same ID. When the scroll icon is clicked, the page will automatically scroll to the linked text, image, or video.
Here are a few examples of IDs used in HTML:
Text: <h2 id="orange">Title</h2>
- In the Anchor ID input, you would insert the ID for the "Title" text as #orange.
Image: <img id="jacket" src="img_girl.jpg"/>
- In the Anchor ID input, you would insert the ID for the image as #jacket.
Tip: The ID attribute can be used on any HTML element. Therefore, you can create a unique ID for your text, image, or video element and insert the same ID in your Scroll to Top icon. For more information, check out this article on the HTML ID attribute.
