Customize YouTube Social Feed

The YouTube option on the Social Feed app is a great way to display YouTube videos in a gallery format that automatically refreshes.  

Connect

Connect any public user, channel, or playlist in the Connect section of of the POWR Editor.

Note: At this time it’s not possible to live stream on the gallery or upload a video directly to the app.

Design

In the Design section choose how often the gallery should refresh, how many posts to display, how large the posts should be, and many other options.

If there are black bars around your videos, this is due to YouTube’s aspect ratio. The YouTube player automatically adds black bars to videos in the player so that videos are displayed correctly without cropping or stretching, no matter the size of the video or the player.

Content

The Content section holds options for how your posts are displayed.

• Approve All: All posts will be shown.
• Default to Approved: All posts will be shown but you have the option of deleting any (Premium Feature).
• Default to Unapproved: Posts will not be displayed until you manually approve them in the POWR Editor (Premium Feature).

It’s not possible to rearrange the order of videos in the POWR Editor. YouTube sends the videos to the app in the order in which the video were first uploaded. Playlist order will be ignored.
