POWR Hit Counter allows you to count All Views or Unique Views. What's the difference?
- All Views - counts every time someone visits the web page. This includes repeat visitors.
- Unique Views - counts unique visitors to the web page. This is done by placing a cookie on the visitors browser, which remembers them for 10 days. During those 10 days, repeat visits by that visitor will not count towards your Hit Counter. After 10 days, the visitor will be considered a new visitor, and they will be counted a second time.
You can choose whether to count All or Unique views in the POWR Editor. Go to Content > Counter Admin and select in the Types of views to be counted field.
