Why don't I see Square in my settings?
Square shows in your app's payment settings (the Connect tab on a Payment Button) for businesses in the eight supported countries. It doesn't show in two cases:
Your form was built in the newer form editor. Square works on Payment Buttons and on forms built in the older form editor.
You opened the editor from outside the supported countries, or on a VPN. The editor hides the Square card, including Disconnect. Open it from your own country with the VPN off. Your buyers' checkout isn't affected.
If it's still missing, contact support and tell us the app's name.
Which countries can use it?
Businesses located in the US, Canada, the UK, Ireland, France, Spain, Australia and Japan. You sign up for Square in the country where your business is located. Your buyers can be anywhere.
Can I use Square next to Stripe or PayPal?
Yes. Each payment method is its own switch. The Free plan includes one payment method. Running a second one, such as Square next to Stripe, is a Starter feature: on Free, the Square card shows Starter Feature with an Upgrade Now button. Starter and above can run more than one.
What can buyers pay with?
Cards, one payment at a time. Square doesn't take recurring payments on POWR, so the Square option doesn't appear when your payment type is Recurring. Apple Pay, Google Pay and bank payments aren't available through Square on POWR.
Which currency do I charge in?
Your Square account's home currency. Square doesn't convert currencies, so set your app's currency to match.
Which Square location gets the money?
Your main Square location. Choosing another location isn't available.
Do Square payments show in my POWR reports?
Each payment shows on its form response or order with the total and a Square confirmation code. Square revenue doesn't appear in POWR's payment reports yet. Your Square Dashboard has the full picture.
Does POWR charge a fee?
No. Square charges its own processing fees, listed on Square's pricing page for your country: US, Canada, UK, Ireland, France, Spain, Australia, Japan.
