If a payment shows as complete on your POWR Sales Dashboard but appears in your PayPal account as On hold, Processing, Pending, or Unclaimed (in some languages, e.g. "Non riscosso"), your money is safe — it's with PayPal, waiting for the connection between your PayPal account and your POWR Payment Button to be fully authorized.
All payments made through POWR apps go directly to your own PayPal account. POWR never holds these funds and can't release them for you — but here's how to get them released.
1. Complete POWR's authorization on your PayPal account (this is what releases the funds)
When you connect your Payment Button, PayPal shows an authorization screen titled "POWR, Inc. - PCP requests authorization to connect your PayPal account." It asks you to grant POWR permission to view account data and manage payments on your behalf. You must select Consent / Allow to finish connecting.
If this step was skipped or didn't complete, PayPal can hold your payments as "on hold / processing" until the authorization goes through. Completing it releases the held payments. You can review or change these permissions anytime in your PayPal settings under Third-party API Access.
2. Check for the PayPal "payment on hold" email
When PayPal holds a payment, it emails your PayPal account. The subject reads something like "You have a payment pending" or a similar on-hold notice. Open that email and follow PayPal's instructions to accept/complete the payment.
3. Still on hold? Contact PayPal Business support
If you can't find the authorization screen or the email, reach out to PayPal directly so they can complete the authorization and release the held funds. This is handled entirely inside your PayPal account — POWR can't do it for you.
- Log in at paypal.com → Help / Contact Us → Business team.
- Have the transaction's confirmation code (from your POWR Sales Dashboard) ready.
4. What POWR can help with

Heads-up: PayPal may return unclaimed payments to the buyer after a period of time (around 30 days), so it's best to complete this promptly.
