If you have the Stripe payments option enabled in your POWR eCommerce or Payment Button, buyers see the option to make a payment directly on your site (no redirects required!).
If you are testing your checkout but are unable to complete the transaction, this could be due to one of the following reasons:
- Your Stripe account is not fully set up. Make sure Stripe has all the information it needs for you to be able to accept payments from buyers, including bank details, routing numbers, address, etc.
- Your Stripe account is (no longer) connected to your App. Open your App Editor and ensure that the Allow credit card payments from site option is enabled. If you are using Wix, remember to Publish your page after connecting your Stripe account. Otherwise, the app might not be fully synced with your Stripe account.
