If you see Edit, Rate Us, or other admin buttons displayed on your POWR app, don't worry. ONLY YOU can see them.
These buttons are automatically shown when POWR recognizes that you're logged into your account. They provide quick access to edit your app without having to return to your dashboard.
Your website visitors WILL NOT see these buttons.

Why the Admin Buttons Appear
When you're logged into your POWR account, our apps recognize your browser as the site administrator.
To make editing easier, the app displays an admin toolbar with options such as:
- Edit
- Rate Us
These controls are only displayed for the account owner or authorized collaborators.
Will My Website Visitors See Them?
No.
Visitors to your website will only see the published version of your app—they won't see the admin toolbar or editing controls.
These buttons are visible only while you're logged into your POWR account.
How to Verify What Visitors See
If you'd like to confirm what your visitors see, try one of these options:
- Open your website in an Incognito or Private Browsing window.
- Log out of your POWR account and refresh your website.
- Visit your website using a different browser or device where you're not signed in.
You should see your app exactly as your visitors do, without the admin buttons.
Can I Remove the Admin Buttons?
The admin toolbar cannot be manually disabled while you're logged into your POWR account.
However, it is never displayed to your website visitors, so no additional action is needed.
If you're previewing your site for a client or recording a demonstration, we recommend using an incognito/private browsing window or logging out of your POWR account first.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why does the toolbar only appear on my computer?
Because your browser is signed in to your POWR account. The app recognizes you as the administrator and displays editing shortcuts.
Does this affect my live website?
No. Your live website appears normally to everyone else.
I asked someone else to check, and they don't see the buttons.
That's expected. Only users logged into the associated POWR account (or authorized collaborators) will see the admin toolbar.
