Yes. The AI Shopping Assistant is built to support your GDPR obligations.
Here's how:
- Shopify data requests are honored. When you submit a mandatory data-request or data-erasure (redaction) request through your Shopify admin, the assistant honors it.
- Conversation data is deleted when you uninstall the app, and on verified deletion requests.
- A privacy notice is published, and the data processors involved are disclosed: DeepSeek (the AI model), PostHog (analytics, with automated redaction of personal information), and Shopify.
- Shopper data is never sold and is not used for advertising.
