How to manually set price and duration of an upgrade

Manually updating the price of an upgrade is useful for preventing Users from outright canceling an existing upgrade and when Users write in that they were unable to take advantage of a discount alert.

To update the price of an upgrade:

  1. Go to Tech Support Helper and pull up the account with the upgrade.
  2. In the Subscription tab, click Change Subscriptions
  3. In the Price field, enter the new negotiated price
  4. In the Price Valid until field, enter the date that the new price will remain active until. After this date, the upgrade will return to its original price on the next scheduled subscription cycle.

Note: To make the price permanent, leave the field Price Valid Until as mm/dd/yyyy and the new price will remain in effect until the upgrade is canceled.

IMPORTANT: Do not INCREASE the price for Shopify subscriptions. It will break the upgrade. Shopify does not allow us to charge the user more than the amount they originally agreed to. Increasing the price will result in Shopify decline our transaction.
