What happens to my POWr app after I transfer my Wix site?

Unfortunately, POWr apps will not retain their original settings when you update your template or transfer a site from one owner to another one. 

The same applies to upgrades made through the Wix App Market. An upgrade is always specific to one Wix website (identified by its subdomain, e.g. username.wixsite.com/sitename/page-url.). An upgrade purchased for one Wix domain will not transfer to the new site or owner. 

How to use an existing app on a new site

If you created a POWr form or another POWr app that you wish to transfer to a new site, please contact our support team. You will need to send us the link to the exact page where the existing app currently lives. Once we have that, we can generate the app's code that you can use on your new site. 

Please note that if you go this route, the upgrade will still run through the original site. There is no need to purchase a new upgrade for the existing app, but you will want to keep the previous upgrade active to continue using the premium features in your app.
