How do I customize how my assistant looks?
You can match your assistant's look to your store in just a few clicks.
- From your Dashboard, click Customize Chat to open the Chat Appearance Settings editor.
- Use the Chat Window and Floating Bubble tabs to adjust each part of the assistant. In the Appearance section you can set: - Bubble color — the color of your chat bubble. - Widget Position — its Alignment on the page (left or right). - Assistant avatar — the image shoppers see. - Assistant name — what your assistant is called.
- Save your changes when you're done.
Name & welcome message
The same Chat Appearance Settings editor is also where you set how your assistant introduces itself:
- Store assistant name — the name your shoppers see on the chat.
- Opening chat message — the greeting shown when a shopper opens the chat.
Set them in the editor and save. You can also set both during first-time setup, on Step 3 of onboarding ("How should your assistant greet shoppers?").
